the line and the circle
The Circle
The circle function also follows same basic rules as the parabola except for the Y term. Adding or subtracting a constant from the x term translates (moves) it left and right respectively, like the parabola. Adding or subtracting a constant from the y term translates (moves) it down and up respectively. (A positive constant added to the parabola moves it up!)
