PURPOSE
I want to investigate the size of the pre moult dungeness crab. I want to see if the age of a Dungeness Crab has a relationship with the pre moult size of the crab. The explanatory variables are age (years). The response variables are Pre Moult (mm).

What is the relationship between age and pre moult size in Dungeness Crabs?

It is a positive relationship between age and pre moult. When the age gets older the pre moult will get bigger.
STRENGTH
The relationship is strong because the dots are close to a trend line.
The quadratic trend line is a good fit for this data because the dots are spread evenly above and below the trend line.

Pre moult = 75.582 x 2.5 + -8.7179 + 3.5^2 + -12.339
= 180.148
I predict that an age of a dungeness crab with 2.5 years of age is 180mm pre moult. I am confident because there are more dungeness that are similar to mine.
